Service Desk Role

We are seeking a skilled professional to provide exceptional customer service as an IT Service Desk Analyst.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, providing prompt and effective solutions.
  • Ensure accurate logging of incidents and service requests in the ITSM system, with clear documentation.
  • Meet service level targets for issue resolution, ensuring timely completion of tasks.
  • Adhere to established IT operations procedures and processes.
  • Respond to urgent requests and escalations, collaborating with relevant teams.
  • Contribute to team effectiveness by sharing knowledge, documenting processes, and participating in continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Configure and manage Active Directory accounts and mailboxes.
  • Provide technical support for hardware components, including desktops, printers, and scanners, as well as assist with installation and configuration of desktops and other equipment.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a support role, preferably with high-volume call handling.
  • Prior experience in autonomous work and teamwork, with a strong desire to learn and upskill.
  • A relevant tertiary qualification in IT or a related field.
  • Experience supporting Microsoft desktop operating systems, network troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and customer service skills.
