About the Role

As a senior academic leader in Midwifery, you will be responsible for developing and delivering high-quality courses within undergraduate and postgraduate programs. You will make significant contributions to research and carry out activities to maintain and develop scholarly, research and/or professional activities.

The decision to appoint at a specific level will depend on performance during the recruitment process. You will need to demonstrate expertise, knowledge, and contribution to the discipline of Midwifery at a national level.

  • You will be expected to have an established portfolio of research that enhances the profile of Midwifery and the Academic Unit.
  • You should have experience in curriculum development, course design, and academic leadership.
  • You must be able to provide leadership to develop a culture of teaching and learning excellence.
  • You are required to enhance the research profile of the Academic Unit through collaborative research and publish research findings.
