Pacific Facilities Maintenance is a locally owned and operated Canberra multi-discipline commercial building services maintenance provider for the ACT and surrounding region. Specialising in the HVAC Mechanical, Fire Protection, Electrical, Plumbing and Building/Ground Maintenance.

Due to the ongoing demand of our Grounds Maintenance services across various portfolios, Pacific Group has an opening for a suitably competent gardening/ grounds person.

Candidates who possess skills in the below categories would be viewed as favourable:

  • Mowing and edging lawns in public and private spaces.
  • Garden bed maintenance, including weeding, pruning and planting.
  • Operating powered equipment such as mowers, blowers and whipper snippers
  • General ground cleanup and debris removal/tip runs.

Competencies, Skills and requirements;

  • Current driver's license.
  • Experience in gardening, landscaping, or grounds maintenance is highly regarded.
  • Working with Vulnerable People Check- Or willing to complete an application.
  • Current Police Check or willing to complete an application.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to plan and work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Professional and presentable demeanour.
  • Take direction and ability to communicate.
  • Commitment to Workplace Health & Safety and Safe Work practices.
