About the Role:
  • Job Type: Casual, part-time (16-20 hours per week)
  • Location: On-site at the University of Queensland, St Lucia Campus
  • Eligibility: Must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident

Key Responsibilities:
  • Engage professionally and empathetically with clients, addressing their needs through various communication channels
  • Develop and maintain technical proficiency in cyber security across diverse technologies and operating systems
  • Provide hands-on assistance to improve clients' technical resilience across various devices and operating systems
  • Evaluate cyber resilience maturity and risks, referring complex cases to specialists if needed

About You:
  • You will have exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including engaging people calmly and professionally who are under severe stress
  • Educational background in a relevant field or strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Able to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Ability to develop and maintain an excellent understanding of application security configurations and features across diverse email and browser applications as well as social media accounts

  • A competitive hourly rate of $35-$40 AUD per hour
  • Full training provided over 6 weeks

  • Flexible working hours between Monday to Friday, 7 am to 7 pm, and Saturday, 9 am to 12 pm AEST
