Child Protection and Sexual Violence Leadership Specialist

The Policy and Programs Unit is a leading entity in the field of child protection and sexual violence. As a Program Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving and implementing the Service's strategic agenda in these areas.
About the RoleThis exciting opportunity requires a highly skilled and experienced individual to lead a team in developing and delivering programs, policies, and functions related to specialist policing services. You will be responsible for implementing recommendations from state and national inquiries, as well as establishing and maintaining effective networks and partnerships with internal and external agencies.
You will also develop and implement strategies to enable continuous improvement in the performance of work units or functional areas, particularly regional Child Protection and Investigation Units (CPIU) and Suspected Child Abuse and Neglect (SCAN) teams.
A key aspect of this role is providing high-level, evidence-based advice and timely, well-researched submissions, briefs, and notes on key issues relating to the delivery of specialist policing services.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and deliver programs, policies, and functions related to specialist policing services.
- Implement recommendations from state and national inquiries.
- Establish and maintain effective networks and partnerships.
- Develop and implement strategies for continuous improvement.
- Provide high-level advice and guidance.
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- Extensive experience in program management and policy development.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze complex information and provide sound advice.
- Experience working with diverse stakeholders and agencies.
We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $160,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, including opportunities for professional development and growth.
