Our organization is seeking a skilled Credit Control Specialist to join our team.

About the Role
  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Proactively pursue all overdue B2B & B2C debt to ensure timely payments, adhering to payment terms and credit limits.
  • Manage incoming customer and internal depot calls effectively.
  • Regularly review stopped orders for release and collaborate with Sales Teams to clear any outstanding balances or queries and manage credit limits within agreed SLAs.
  • Identify queries and liaise with Sales Teams to resolve customer inquiries efficiently, maintaining high customer service standards.
  • Conduct regular debt ledger reviews, account reconciliations, and manage unallocated cash.
  • Oversee high-spend fuel card accounts, ensuring credit exposure remains within acceptable limits.
  • Foster a culture of best-in-class credit control practices by adhering to company policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Demonstrated commercial awareness in a competitive industry environment.
  • Exceptional telephone manner with experience handling high-volume inbound and outbound calls.
  • Effective communication skills for interacting with both B2B and B2C customers.
  • Able to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; SAP experience is highly valued.
