Job Overview:

A proactive Credit Controller is required to oversee timely payments, resolve queries, and maintain strong customer relationships.

The Role Responsibilities Include:

  • Cash Collection: Actively chase all overdue debt to ensure invoices due are paid on time.
  • Customer Management: Manage inbound customer calls and internal depot communications.
  • Order Release: Review stopped orders regularly for release and work alongside Sales Teams to clear any overdue balances or queries.
  • Query Resolution: Identify queries and liaise with Sales Teams to effectively resolve customer queries.
  • Ledger Management: Regular debt ledger review, account reconciliations, and unallocated cash management.
  • Fuel Card Oversight: Ensure high-spend fuel card accounts have acceptable credit exposure limits.
  • Adherence to Policies & Procedures: Strive for best-in-class credit control practices by adhering to company policies and procedures.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong commercial awareness in a competitive industry.
  • Excellent telephone manner with experience in high-volume inbound and outbound calls.
  • Effective communication skills with both B2B and B2C customers.
  • Ability to build and maintain key stakeholder relationships.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; SAP experience is beneficial.
