Job Title: Centre Cook

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Centre Cook to join our team at Mayfield Early Education. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing wholesome, delicious, and nutritious meals for children aged 6 weeks to 6 years in a supportive early learning environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare tasty and nutritious meals that cater to the dietary needs of growing children.
  • Contribute to fostering healthy eating habits from a young age.
  • Collaborate with our team to create a warm and welcoming environment.
  • Use fresh ingredients to ensure high-quality meals for our children.
  • Engage with parents and carers to understand their child's dietary needs.
Requirements:
  • A passion for creating delicious and nutritious meals suitable for children aged 6 weeks to 6 years.
  • Experience in meal planning, preparation, and kitchen management.
  • Knowledge of dietary restrictions and allergies.
  • Availability from Monday to Friday.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Adherence to health and safety regulations.
  • Valid Blue Card.
  • Food Handling certificate.
  • First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis & Asthma certification (or willingness to obtain).
