Role Summary

This is a key position that plays a pivotal role in driving business performance by ensuring effective expense management and forecasting.

  • Collaborate with senior stakeholders to develop and implement cost reduction strategies, providing expert advice on financial matters.
  • Build and maintain complex models to forecast expenses, identify areas for improvement, and deliver actionable insights through high-quality reports.
  • Lead monthly forecasting cycles, challenge assumptions, and improve forecast accuracy by analyzing actuals versus budget.
  • Analyze discrepancies between actuals and budgets, support scenario modeling, and make informed decisions regarding contracts.
  • Work closely with Finance and Data teams to streamline reporting processes, automate tasks, and drive improvements in Oracle EPM.
  • Support strategic projects aligned with the organization's broader priorities.
Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute comprehensive expense reduction plans, collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.

  • Partner with senior leaders to drive cost savings initiatives, leveraging expertise in finance and data analysis.
  • Design and deploy driver-based expense models to inform business decision-making, delivering accurate forecasts and insightful reporting.
  • Manage and optimize monthly forecasting cycles, challenging assumptions and improving forecast accuracy through rigorous analysis.
  • Deliver high-quality reporting and recommendations to stakeholders, ensuring timely and actionable insights into financial performance.
  • Collaborate with Finance and Data teams to design and implement process improvements, driving efficiency gains through automation and best practices.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in finance, with a focus on business partnering and expense management. Key qualifications include:

  • At least 5 years' experience in finance business partnering, with a strong emphasis on expense management.
  • A recognized accounting qualification (CA or CIMA preferred).
  • Proven skills in building and maintaining driver-based forecasting models, with a track record of delivering accurate forecasts and insightful reporting.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to advise non-finance audiences on financial matters.
  • Familiarity with Oracle EPM or similar planning and reporting tools.
  • A hands-on mindset and ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
