As a key member of our Nalco Water team, you'll be responsible for managing and developing our current client base in the region, leveraging our strong client relationships and driving service delivery.

You'll also assist with troubleshooting technical problems in a timely manner to ensure ongoing chemical treatment of process unit operations and water treatment facilities.

We're looking for someone with a strong background in chemistry, science, or chemical engineering, or an experienced professional with a history in a similar industry.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing and developing the current client base within the region, leveraging our strong client relationships and driving service delivery.
  • Assisting with the troubleshooting of technical problems in a timely manner to ensure ongoing chemical treatment of process unit operations and water treatment facilities.

By nature, you'll ideally demonstrate:

  • High commitment to Safety, Environment, Occupational Health and Quality.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with both internal & external customers.
  • Good mechanical aptitude, delivering a hands-on approach to service execution and adding value.
  • Strong technical problem-solving ability.
  • Ability to perform both individually and in a team environment.

To be successful, ideally you'll have:

  • Recent Chemical Engineering, Chemistry or Science degree (or) experience in industry setting.
  • Desire to work in the water treatment and mineral processing industries.
  • Strong aptitude for customer service sales.
  • Innate ability to quickly develop rapport and build strong working relationships with users of the products and chemical treatment programs.
  • Pro-active approach to learning the technical aspects of the business.
  • High commitment to Safety, Environment, Occupational Health and Quality.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
