About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Solutions Designer to join our Treasury Technology team at Westpac Banking Corporation in Sydney, Australia. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the design and planning of data solutions and integration impact across Treasury and Enterprise programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Core accountability for leading Data Solutions and Integration impact across Treasury and Enterprise programs
  • Consultation and Engagement with Group functions at GM level
  • Propose solution options for re-engineering larger pieces of end-to-end processes
  • Participate in the build and engagement with CTO Architecture on Solution Impacts
  • Solution Delivery planning cognizant of multiple interdependent initiatives including Treasury Data Platform Cloud Migration
Requirements
  • Very strong batch data ingestion/processing experience
  • Extensive Solutions Designer experience at a senior level - leading Data Solutions and Integration impact
  • Solution & Data Designer/Architect/Security/Compliance experience
  • Legacy and Modern Data related technologies experience - SQL Server, Azure, Synapse, SPARK & SQL
  • Strong presentation and communication skills to GM level
  • Must have financial services experience
