About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Solutions Designer to join our Treasury Technology team at Westpac Institutional Banking. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the solution design and planning of our interdependent streams, ensuring seamless integration and delivery of our Treasury Data Platforms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead Data Solutions and Integration impact across Treasury and Enterprise programs
  • Consult and engage with Group functions at GM level
  • Propose solution options for re-engineering larger pieces of end-to-end processes and participate in the build
  • Engage with CTO Architecture on Solution Impacts
  • Plan solution delivery cognizant of multiple interdependent initiatives, including Treasury Data Platform Cloud Migration

Requirements
  • Strong batch data ingestion/processing experience
  • Extensive Solutions Designer experience at a senior level, leading Data Solutions and Integration impact
  • Solution & Data Designer/Architect/Security/Compliance experience
  • Legacy and Modern Data related technologies experience - SQL Server, Azure, Synapse, SPARK & SQL
  • Strong presentation and communication skills to GM level
  • Must have financial services experience
