Job Title: Care Manager

Care Managers play a vital role in the aged care sector, ensuring that residents receive high-quality, person-centred care.

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Care Manager at one of our facilities in the Southern Gold Coast area.

  • Deliver comprehensive and resident-focused clinical assessments to meet individual needs.
  • Collaborate with staff, residents, and families to achieve positive outcomes through effective communication and relationship-building.
  • Lead and support care staff in delivering exceptional care services, fostering a culture of respect and empathy.
  • Manage medication safely and effectively, adhering to legislative requirements and resident needs.
  • Contribute to operational duties and continuous improvement initiatives within the facility, driving excellence in care delivery.

To be successful in this role, you will:

  • Hold current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA and possess at least 2 years' experience as a Care Manager.
  • Demonstrate strong leadership skills and excellent verbal and written communication abilities, with a passion for caring for the elderly.
  • Be proficient in computer systems and possess a good understanding of WHS responsibilities, including manual handling principles.
  • Have knowledge of Aged Care Legislation, Accreditation, and AN-ACC processes.
  • Be available to work full-time hours (76 hours per fortnight) and possess a valid police check clearance.
  • Have full Australian Working rights.
