Job Opportunity: Social Worker

The successful candidate will bring experience in mental health settings, along with a strong commitment to collaborative practice and continuous improvement in patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Patient Support: Deliver psychosocial support to clients experiencing mental health challenges
  • Collaboration: Collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team environment
  • Care Planning: Contribute to care planning, advocacy, group facilitation, and recovery-oriented practices
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Social Work (or equivalent)
  • Eligible for full membership of Australian Association of Social Workers
  • Demonstrated ability to utilise a variety of social work interventions
  • Demonstrated experience in medical social work practice
  • Knowledge of community resources services to meet patient needs
  • Demonstrated effective interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team and independently as required
  • Willingness to uphold core values
