About the Role

Datacom's Endpoint Engineering team is seeking a skilled SOE Engineer to support our customers' environments and provide best-practice recommendations. As a key member of the team, you will design, build, and continuously improve end-user solutions, enabling our customers to transform their business and modernize their end-user experience.

You will be responsible for problem-solving technical issues, managing day-to-day operations, and engaging in project work. Your focus will be on ensuring an exceptional customer experience for Datacom's endpoint customer base.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strong technical knowledge of Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager, including SCCM and Intune
  • Experience with Windows 10 task sequencing and endpoint configuration
  • Maintenance, upgrades, and enhancements of environment-wide configurations, including user policies, device policies, security policies, firmware, drivers, and automation scripts
  • 2 years' experience in Citrix Image Management mandatory
  • Ensure outstanding levels of customer satisfaction through timely, professional, and attentive responses
  • Operate in a high-performing team environment and contribute to the winning culture
  • Identify service improvements, efficiencies, and cost reductions for Datacom customers
  • Follow best-practice methodologies and adhere to recognized ITIL processes
Requirements
  • 5 years' IT industry experience, preferably in an IT managed service provider
  • Approximately 3 years' experience in a similar SOE Engineer role
  • Exceptional knowledge of Windows 10, 11, and good working knowledge of networking and TCP/IP, AD, DHP, DNS, certificate services, and enterprise applications
  • Exceptional skills in endpoint management platforms, System Centre Configuration Manager, Intune, and Virtual Desktops
  • Exceptional troubleshooting, customer service, communication, and prioritization skills
