Job Description:

The role of the Applications Manager involves overseeing the day-to-day management of QScript, a real-time prescription monitoring system used by Queensland Health.

  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Process Implementation - Ensure standardised processes are implemented for data access requests related to the QScript Application.
    • Contract Management - Manage contract arrangements and service liaison with the QScript vendor.
    • Access Requests - Manage system access requests in accordance with relevant QScript guidelines and Queensland Health policy.
    • Software License Management - Ensure software licenses and contracts associated with QScript are appropriately managed and maintained.
    • Testing and Quality Assurance - Coordinate acceptance testing for QScript fixes, enhancements, and change requests.
    • ICT Service Continuity - Ensure ICT service continuity plans are in place to address system availability and functionality requirements.

About the Role:

This position requires an individual with experience in developing and promoting ITSM processes based on the ITIL framework. The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills, as well as the ability to negotiate, advise, influence others, and work collaboratively with senior business and technical stakeholders.
