Job Title: Service Delivery Leadership Specialist

We are seeking an experienced and strategic leader to provide high-level leadership and management for the delivery of service excellence in child safety and family support services, women and violence prevention services across Queensland.

The successful candidate will partner with senior executives within the department, across the Queensland public service, and interjurisdictionally, to drive better outcomes for Queenslanders. Key priorities will include delivering results-driven solutions, fostering a client and community-focused culture, and upholding the core public sector values of: customers first; ideas into action; unleash potential; be courageous; and empower people.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and implementation of service delivery strategies that meet the needs of Queenslanders;
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to achieve organisational goals and objectives;
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key external partners and stakeholders;
  • Provide strategic guidance and support to the executive and management team;
  • Ensure the delivery of safe, well, rewarding, diverse, and inclusive workplaces for valued staff members.

  • Proven leadership experience in large, dynamic, and complex organisations;
  • Outstanding leadership, strategy, engagement, and delivery expertise;
  • Ability to facilitate partnerships and alliances;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
