About the Role:
The Chief Financial Officer will report directly to the CEO, leading the finance functions and working in partnership with the Board, CEO, and broader Executive Leadership Team to achieve the growth agenda. Key responsibilities include:
- Develop and execute financial strategies aligned with business goals.
- Lead and mentor a best practice finance function, partnering with various functions to make informed and business-oriented decisions.
- Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
- Evaluate investment opportunities, making sound recommendations to the CEO and Board.
- Manage cash flow and working capital to support operational needs and strategic initiatives.
- Oversee key financial management responsibilities, including reporting, budgeting, forecasting, treasury, taxation, procurement, payroll, internal and external audit.
- Provide strategic input to the direction of the organisation.
About You:
We are seeking an accomplished track record as a Finance Director or CFO, leading various sized organisations through scale. You may come from a Private Equity background or other companies that demonstrate pace and scale in a complex supply chain, such as consumer goods brands. Commercial acumen, strong technical skills, leadership, and the ability to be hands-on and strategic at the same time are essential. You should be able to build vision and strategy effectively and lead others through the implementation of that vision. Salary package circa $300k with strong STI and LTI upon meeting growth targets.
