Job Summary

The key to a successful territory management team is the Product Specialist role, which plays a crucial part in maintaining operational accuracy and vendor relationships.

This position owns the continuous maintenance and accuracy of tour builds and vendor confirmations for assigned territories.

  • Accurate data entry and service assignment are essential skills for this role, ensuring seamless operations system functionality.
  • Effective communication with vendors is vital for confirming tour components and recording details within the operations systems.
  • The specialist must ensure high levels of accuracy when building and auditing tour components, undertaking regular maintenance and changes for tour components in operations systems.
  • Troubleshooting and problem resolution are critical skills for resolving issues that arise in the tour build.
  • Regular meetings with the territory team will establish operational consistency of vendor services, identify key operational needs, and address tour deviations.
  • Collaboration with multiple departments will ensure tour components' accuracy and consistency throughout all channels, guaranteeing overall tour integrity for optimal guest satisfaction.
  • Establishing strong working relationships with buyers, product managers, and product teams is paramount.
  • Assisting in urgent situations before or during tours, responding to world events and vendor challenges, is an integral part of the role.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred or equivalent experience.
  • One to three years' experience.
  • Supply chain, inventory, scheduling, logistics, or ERP experience is highly valued.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills are required to prioritize tasks efficiently.
  • Decision-making requires initiative, ownership, and proactive approach.
  • Collaboration and teamwork foster a positive work environment.
  • Flexibility in a rapidly changing industry and knowledge of global current events are essential.
  • Understanding financial implications on business decisions is vital.
  • Clear and effective communication with stakeholders is necessary.
  • Technical ability to work within proprietary systems is required.
