Job Description:

The Disability Support Worker plays a vital role in enhancing the lives of individuals with disabilities by providing training and support services that promote community inclusion, independence, decision making, and personal choice.

This role involves implementing strategies aimed at maximising the living, employment, social, and recreational skills of people with disabilities, ensuring their needs are met through a person-centred approach.

The Disability Support Worker will work collaboratively with clients, families, and other stakeholders to develop and implement individualised plans that cater to their unique needs and goals.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

- Cert III Individual Support, Mental Health, Aged Care, Community Services, or Disability Work

- Knowledge of meal preparation and experience in medication administration

- Current WWCC, Criminal Record Check, and First Aid Certificate

- Drivers Licence
