Key to our success is identifying top talent who can help us deliver world-class solutions. As an Electrical Estimator, you will play a critical role in preparing accurate contract value estimates and cost plans for various tenders and engineering studies.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in estimating, with experience working on complex projects. Key responsibilities include:

  • Reviewing requests for proposals and tenders to develop efficient and cost-effective pricing
  • Developing and implementing first principle estimates
  • Interpreting and evaluating drawings to identify direct and indirect estimates
  • Collating material take-offs and job costs into presentable spreadsheets or databases
  • Analysing benchmarks and historical costs

To succeed in this role, you will need to have:

  • A degree in a relevant field, such as construction management or engineering
  • Significant experience with database estimating packages
  • Demonstrated ability to prepare accurate first principals estimates and proposals within strict deadlines
  • At least 4 years' experience in an estimating role
  • At least 4 years' experience in the energy and resources sector
