Child and Family Health Nurse/Midwife Role

We are seeking a dedicated Child and Family Health Nurse/Midwife to join our team in the New England region of NSW.

This is a rewarding opportunity to deliver early intervention, health promotion, and family support services in a welcoming rural setting.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering safe, culturally respectful, family-centred care for parents, infants, and children.

  • Deliver home visits to families within two weeks of birth
  • Support families with parenting advice, breastfeeding, child development, and early intervention
  • Act as an advocate to help families make informed health decisions
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals, multidisciplinary teams, and community services to ensure seamless care
About the Position

This is a permanent full-time position with 38 hours per week.

The successful candidate will have:

  • AHPRA registration
  • Postgraduate Child and Family Health qualifications
  • Current driver's licence
  • Experience delivering child and family health services, including home visiting
  • Strong advocacy, communication, and problem-solving skills
