Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pastry Chef de Partie (Conference and Events) to join our team. The successful candidate will have:

  • Several years of experience working in a high-volume 5-star luxury hotel conference and events environment
  • Advanced patisserie skills, including chocolate tempering
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment with a focus on attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • A passion for food and quality products and ingredients
  • Adept in using commercial-grade kitchen equipment
  • Ability to supervise and prepare all baked goods, pastries, and desserts in accordance with established recipes
  • Ability to maintain high levels of communication between Sous-Chefs and Chef de Parties at all times
  • Ability to operate in accordance with HACCP standards at all times
  • Full Australian working rights
Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Preparing and presenting high-quality baked goods, pastries, and desserts for conferences and events
  • Supervising and preparing all baked goods, pastries, and desserts in accordance with established recipes
  • Maintaining high levels of communication between Sous-Chefs and Chef de Parties at all times
  • Operating in accordance with HACCP standards at all times
