We are seeking a highly skilled Chef de Partie - Pastry Kitchen to join our team at Park Hyatt Sydney. As a leader in the hospitality industry, we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional experiences to our guests.
Main Responsibilities:
- Monitor and maintain high standards of quality and presentation in all bakery and pastry products.
- Prepare and supervise daily mise en place, ensuring all sections are supplied with fresh and high-quality products based on anticipated business levels.
- Conduct regular taste tests to ensure consistency and excellence in food and beverage quality.
- Establish and enforce strict sanitation standards for the kitchen, adhering to industry best practices.
- Collaborate with the Pastry Chef and other outlet chefs to ensure seamless execution of assigned tasks and responsibilities.
- Ensure consistent supply of quality products and correct quantities to all food outlets, meeting the high standards of Park Hyatt Sydney.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Chef de Partie in a high-end hotel or restaurant environment.
- Excellent knowledge of pastry and bakery techniques, with a focus on quality and presentation.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to maintain high standards of quality and consistency in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
