Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our Livestock Career Development Program. This is an exciting opportunity for a career-driven professional looking to develop their skills and knowledge in the livestock industry.

The program is designed for top talent to gain valuable experience in all aspects of the livestock activity while completing an in-house Certificate in Livestock Marketing. During the 24-month program, you will be involved in four leadership and skill-building workshops, receive on-the-ground training, and have mentors assigned to provide ongoing support.

As a part of our Livestock Career Development Program, you will have the opportunity to work in both saleyard and branch environments, being mentored and guided by our experienced livestock employees and leaders. You will learn effective selling and relationship building techniques, as well as gain exposure to various aspects of the livestock industry.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Strong desire to learn and succeed in the livestock industry
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong negotiation abilities
  • Successful completion of Year 12
  • Worked successfully for a minimum of 24 months within the agricultural industry, ideally within livestock
  • Willingness to relocate at the conclusion or throughout the program
  • Australian or New Zealand citizenship, or Australian permanent residency
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Willingsness to learn, strong communication and problem-solving skills, and leadership potential
