Work Health and Safety Professional

Campbelltown City Council is seeking a highly skilled Work Health and Safety Specialist to join their team. As a key member of the council, you will be responsible for ensuring the coordination of Council's compliance with Work, Health & Safety legislation and ensuring that Council's WHS Management System meets legislative requirements and ISO.
Key Responsibilities- Develop, design, and integrate WHS Management Systems in compliance with WHS legislation and ISO.
- Conduct detailed safety incident investigations in line with root cause or ICAM methodologies.
- Educate and influence stakeholders regarding WHS matters.
- Ensure Council's WHS Management System meets legislative requirements and ISO.
- Tertiary qualifications in Work Health and Safety.
- Expert knowledge of the Work Health and Safety Act, relevant legislations, and codes of practice.
- COVID-19 Vaccination or medical contraindication upon commencement.
- Commitment to living Council's values of respect, integrity, trust, teamwork, and optimism.
- Permanent full-time position.
- Salary from $94,000 to $104,000 per year.
