About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Social Work Specialist to join our multidisciplinary team at NSW Health. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality psychological and psycho-social assessment and counseling interventions for women with severe menopause symptoms or complex management requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide mental health interventions with diverse client populations, including women with severe menopause symptoms or complex management requirements.
  • Work collaboratively with women, their families, and other support networks to provide advocacy, information, support, and education.
  • Develop and deliver Menopause training and education opportunities for clinical care partners, including primary care providers and other specialist clinicians.
  • Use virtual digital technologies to deliver care to women across South West NSW.
Requirements
  • Full registration as a Psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and/or a social work degree which provides eligibility for membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW).
  • Demonstrated well-developed assessment, screening, intervention, and therapy skills with a focus on women's health.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team to accomplish service goals and improved client care and outcomes.
  • Applicants must possess an Australian C-Class driver's license (including P1 or P2).
