Brisbane is a great location for this Commercial Manager role.

We are looking for an experienced professional to join our freight forwarding and logistics team in Brisbane. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for identifying and developing business opportunities and managing projects and contracts from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Undertake and review operational planning activities to meet customer requirements and seasonal volume forecast profiles
  • Focusing on local business development by obtaining new accounts and improving on business with existing accounts
  • Generate leads, set appointments, and present business proposals to potential customers through various means
  • Manage and maintain pipelines, respond to requests for information in a timely manner, and remain proactive and responsive to prospective customers
  • Collaborate on tender and business development activities
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels in the organization and present confidently to large groups and forums
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3 years of Commercial/Contract or Account Management experience
  • Proven knowledge and track record within the Aerospace, Airline industry
  • Sound knowledge of all facets of freight forwarding or logistics industry
  • Ability to gain new business and develop existing business
