Job Summary

This is a leadership role that involves overseeing the management of water and sewerage assets. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a diverse team of professionals in delivering reliable services to the community.

Main Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of professionals in asset management.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans for asset management; monitor and report on asset performance and risk.
  • Guide asset monitoring and reporting functions; support the delivery of major projects and renewal programs.
  • Align with regulatory frameworks for local water utilities.
  • Provide high-quality customer service and create value for the community.
Key Qualifications
  • A degree in Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience with ongoing professional development.
  • Extensive experience in planning and managing water supply and sewerage infrastructure, with current knowledge of design, construction and operation of water schemes.
  • Understanding of asset management principles and strategic planning for water and sewerage infrastructure.
  • Demonstrated leadership with effective communication, coaching, mentoring, diversity, and change management.
  • Ability to build credible relationships and negotiate towards beneficial outcomes.
