Job Overview

Asset Management Lead

We are seeking an experienced engineering leader to head our Asset Management function. As a seasoned professional, you will shape long-term strategies, drive performance, and ensure reliable energy production.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Asset Team: Guide and mentor a high-performing team to deliver asset management strategies, technical support, and expert advice.
  • Strategic Asset Planning: Provide in-depth strategic advice to leadership teams, ensuring long-term asset reliability and compliance with statutory requirements.
  • Implement Asset Strategies: Oversee corrective, preventative, process safety, and whole-life strategies to optimize asset performance while managing risk and controlling costs.
  • Project Oversight: Lead the planning, governance, and execution of major maintenance, capital projects, and planned outages.
  • Contract Management: Oversee external contractors and consultants, ensuring compliance with contracts and high-quality deliverables.
  • Budget Development: Develop and maintain systems to deliver short- and long-term budgets aligned with asset strategies.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary degree in Engineering, with postgraduate qualifications in Management or equivalent experience.
  • Extensive management and leadership experience in a complex industry, with a proven track record of achieving results.
  • Demonstrated experience leading an asset management function, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.
  • Ability to lead teams in analyzing complex problems and developing solutions.
  • Extensive experience in contract management, including oversight and negotiation.
