Job Overview

The Senior Asset Manager plays a pivotal role in leading a diverse team of professionals to balance cost, performance, and risk across Council's Water and Sewerage asset portfolio.

This position is crucial in delivering functions and responsibilities of the asset owner for the Water Directorate, aiming to maximise value for the community.

Main Responsibilities
  • Lead a team to manage the balance of cost, performance, and risk across Council's Water and Sewerage asset portfolio.
  • Be responsible for the full range of water and sewer asset management functions, including strategic planning, monitoring, reporting, and project delivery.
  • Contribute to alignment with NSW Government's Strategic Planning Assurance Framework for Local Water Utilities and other regulatory bodies.

Ongoing professional development, strong leadership behaviours, and ability to build relationships are highly valued in this role.

Key Requirements
  • Qualifications: Degree in Engineering or related field, or demonstrated experience in a similar role.
  • Extensive experience in planning and managing water supply and sewerage infrastructure.
  • Understanding of engineering principles and strategic planning of water and sewerage infrastructure.
