Field Service Engineer
">This role offers a unique opportunity to become the technical face of our organization, working closely with scientists and procurement teams to deliver top-notch service and support. Your extensive knowledge of laboratory instrumentation and analytical technology will enable you to troubleshoot complex issues and implement repairs with precision.
">As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for installing, commissioning, maintaining, and repairing a diverse portfolio of instruments. You will work in collaboration with our sales, applications, and logistics teams to ensure seamless delivery of products and services.
">Key Responsibilities:

- Instrument Setup and Maintenance: Deliver on-site instrument setup, IQ/OQ, operator training, and handover documentation.">
- Preventive Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Plan and perform scheduled preventive maintenance, troubleshoot faults, implement repairs, and verify performance to factory specs.">
- Customer Support: Provide phone and email triage, user refresher training, escalate complex issues, coordinate loan instruments and spare parts, and maintain accurate service cases in CRM.">
- Inventory Management: Manage boot stock and local inventory, feedback recurring issues to product specialists, and contribute to the service knowledgebase.">
Qualifications and Experience:

- Degree, diploma, or trade certification in Electronics, Mechatronics, Biomedical, Analytical Chemistry, or similar field.">
- 3-5 years of field service or depot repair experience on laboratory/analytical instruments or medical devices; experience with liquid handlers, HPLC/LC MS, spectroscopy, or imaging systems highly valued.">
- Demonstrated ability to read electrical schematics, service manuals, and use diagnostic software.">
- Proficient in MS Office and CRM/ERP systems (e.g., Netsuite, Salesforce).">
- Ability to travel within Australia/New Zealand, overseas as required.">
- Valid driver's license and eligibility to work in Australia.">
