**Your New Role:**

As an Occupational Health and Safety Specialist, you will report directly to the site safety lead and be responsible for:

  • Enhancing and streamlining the existing safety management system
  • Driving continuous improvement in health and safety tools, processes, and strategies
  • Participating in pre-start, toolbox, and safety committee meetings to foster open communication
  • Analyzing and presenting data and statistics on safe work and safety events to inform targeted safety improvements
  • Conducting audits to verify compliance with relevant laws and regulations
  • Providing guidance and support to the workforce and line management on safe systems of work

**Requirements:**

  • Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Health and Safety or a related field
  • Extensive experience in relevant WHS legislation, standards, and codes of practice
  • Major projects experience, preferably in Oil and Gas or industrial construction
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple stakeholders
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
