Job Title: Health and Safety Manager - Major ProjectsThis is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced Health and Safety Manager to oversee Major Projects with a leader in Australia's renewable energy future.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee works being undertaken by appointed Joint Venture Contractors across all major projects.
- Report to the Group HSE Manager and include forward planning around all future activities and risks for the business across major projects.
- Review contractor documentation against project requirements and obligations, including safety management plans and related sub-plans.
- Manage large, diverse teams of Health and Safety professionals.
- Minimum 10 years experience in Health and Safety roles with at least 5 years managing teams in civil construction, utilities or related industries.
- Extensive experience and examples of managing appointed contractors on major projects.
- ICAM lead investigation qualification and experience.
- Risk Management expertise, including experience with Fatality Prevention/Major Hazards/Critical Control program implementation.
- Proactive individual with the ability to work across multiple projects in regional locations.
