Our Customs Team in Australia is visionary and forward-thinking, driving global trade and facilitating smooth customs clearance.
As a Logistics Trade Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless customs clearance by classifying goods, managing documents, and coordinating shipments.
You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to achieve this goal.
Your key responsibilities include:
- Classifying goods for customs clearance in compliance with regulations, sourcing necessary product information and documentation as required.
- Verifying and following up on documents to enable shipments to be lodged by our in-house customs brokers.
- Maintaining accurate documentation and system records as per operational and company requirements.
- Facilitating quarantine for shipments if necessary and coordinating with our cartage operational team to meet all necessary requirements.
- Ensuring customs clearance, deliveries, and other requirements are met within agreed customer service standards.
- Undertaking any additional tasks as required by management.
To succeed in this role, you will have:
- Previous experience as a Customs Classifier or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of Customs regulations and Incoterms.
- Effective communication skills with internal and external stakeholders.
We offer a competitive salary range of AU$60,000 - AU$90,000 per annum, depending on your experience and qualifications.
