Mondelez International is seeking an experienced Trade Spend Governance Specialist to join our Customer Service and Logistics team.

The successful candidate will play a critical role in analyzing data, actualizing promotions, and ensuring governance compliance reporting.

This includes serving as the primary contact for handling second-tier escalations from internal customers, providing coaching and development opportunities to offshore team members, and collaborating with Sales Controlling to assess financial impacts of promotional programs.

A key aspect of this role is identifying and implementing opportunities for continuous improvement in the trade spend process, from promotion creation to dispute resolution.

Additionally, the Trade Spend Governance Specialist will assist with month-end processes by reviewing final trade spend results and evaluating accrual positions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serving as the primary contact point for 2nd tier escalations from internal customers
  • Couching and developing Offshore team members to align on monthly goals and priorities
  • Providing training where required to both sales and Accenture teams
  • Partnering with Sales Controlling to identify and understand financial impacts around promotional programs
  • Proactively identifying opportunities for continuous improvement in the trade spend process
  • Assisting with month-end processes for the channel, reviewing final trade spend results and evaluating accrual positions

Requirements:

  • 2-3 years of relevant experience in finance (e.g. AP, AR)/volume process
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate with stakeholders and good relationship building skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, Excel – Pivot Tables and Lookups, SAP experience is advantageous

Benefits:

  • Estimated annual salary: $90,000 - $110,000 AUD, depending on experience
  • 12-month fixed term contract with Mondelez International
  • Hybrid model with 3 days working from office and 2 days from home
  • No relocation support available
