Construction Procurement Strategist for APAC Data Center Operations

About the Job
">We are seeking a skilled Construction Procurement Strategist to join our team in APAC, supporting the data center operations space. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for creating and implementing sourcing strategies for complex services categories, collaborating with internal business partners and suppliers to reduce risks and costs.
">Key Responsibilities:

Develop and execute category strategies to achieve cost savings through negotiations, value engineering, and strategic initiatives.
">">Analyze category data and metrics to establish and implement procurement category strategies.
">">Provide in-depth knowledge about the supply market and supplier capabilities to inform business decisions.
">">Create supplier scorecards to measure and track supplier performance.
">">Lead business reviews to discuss best practices and issues, and to improve supplier performance and strengthen business partnerships.
">">Identify opportunities to innovate within the procurement space, automating and/or improving tools or processes to better support the procurement lifecycle.
">">Support the contracting process, including contract management post-execution.

Requirements:
">To succeed in this role, you will need:

5+ years of relevant construction industry experience performing RFP documentation and bidding, contract negotiation, contract management, and cost analysis.
">">Experience driving category strategies, developing pricing models, and influencing across all levels of an organization.
">">A degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Supply Chain Management, or a relevant business discipline from an accredited university.
">">Ability to communicate and report on market intelligence data, including commodity trends and labor indexes.
">">Experience working in mission critical/data center, engineering, infrastructure service provider, or similar technology company.
">">Developing market intelligence and analyzing market trends.
">">Experience with creating procurement systems and tools.
">">Proficiency in Tableau, Salesforce, Quicksight, PowerBI, Procore, or similar tools.

What We Offer:
">We offer a competitive salary of $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including flexible work arrangements, professional development opportunities, and a supportive team environment.
