Electrical Design Engineer, APAC Data Center Design Engineering Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our APAC Data Center Design Engineering team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing electrical systems for our data centers across the Asia Pacific region.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the design and implementation of electrical systems for data centers in the APAC region
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that electrical systems meet or exceed quality and safety standards
* Participate in site selection reviews and work with local utilities to understand and define site utility requirements
* Design and implement critical data center equipment, including generators, UPS systems, and switchgear
* Work with regional vendors and manufacturers to specify electrical equipment and ensure compliance with local regulations
* Review and approve equipment submittals and provide technical support for information requests prior to and during construction phases
* Collaborate with commissioning teams to properly test and validate installation, operation, and performance of electrical systems
* Travel to sites for site reviews and work with onsite field engineers, as well as provide engineering evaluations, electrical systems audits, and startup as needed
Requirements
* Degree in Electrical Engineering and 3+ years of experience directly related to data center or mission critical facility design
* Comprehensive understanding of various code requirements across the APAC region
* Fundamental understanding of critical MV and LV electrical equipment
* Experience with fast-track design/build projects and/or multiple significant upgrade projects
