Construction Manager for Large Scale Data Center Projects

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a unique blend of technical, business, and communication skills. As a Construction Contracts Manager, you will be responsible for leading the procurement and contract management process for large scale data center projects.
About the RoleYou will be part of the Global Supply Chain team within Microsoft's Cloud Operations and Innovation (CO+I) group. Your primary responsibility will be to manage the entire contract lifecycle, from sourcing and negotiation to contract execution and closeout. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Planning, Strategic Sourcing, Cost Management, Engineering, Quality, Construction, and Project Managers to ensure successful project delivery.
Responsibilities- Project Procurement: Perform sourcing activities for various professional services, such as General Contractors, Architect Engineers, Commissioning Agents, Cost Management, Project Management, and others.
- Develop sourcing and negotiation strategies to meet project objectives in relation to the contract.
- Participate in supplier assessment and prepare contract award proposals.
- Contract Review and Compliance: Ensure all contractual requirements are met according to the terms and conditions.
- Execute procurement contracting strategies for large, complex data center construction projects and/or purchasing opportunities to achieve optimal cost and continuity of supply and services.
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- 10+ Years Experience in Project Management, Procurement, Supply Chain, and/or Operations.
