Reservations Manager Job Description

Novotel Sydney Darling Square is seeking an experienced and dedicated Reservations Manager to join our team on a Full Time basis. Our hotel is conveniently located amongst Sydney's CBD, Darling Harbour, Darling Square and ICC precincts, making it the perfect location for guests whether they're travelling for business, leisure, or both.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of the Reservations team.
  • Set high standards for our guest experience ensuring a memorable experience each and every time.
  • Identify and create opportunities for increased revenue, and work to achieve key financial targets.
  • Ensure all reservations in the PMS system are up to date and accurate, and work closely with the Front Office team to ensure details related to new and repeat guests is communicated prior to arrivals.

Requirements:

  • A keen eye for detail, with good time management skills and the ability to effectively manage complex and competing priorities.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbally and written, with the ability to lead and develop junior team members.
  • Previous experience as a Reservations Manager or Supervisor, with a passion for exceptional guest experiences and a commitment to delivering high levels of customer service.
  • Experience with Opera PMS or Opera Cloud is preferred.
