Job Responsibilities
We are seeking an experienced communications professional to work closely with our project teams in representing BMD Constructions' interests in a professional manner across various water projects in the South-East. In this dynamic role, you will hold primary responsibility for communications activities and oversee the stakeholder engagement and communication strategy for the project. Your key duties and responsibilities will include:
- Assisting in the development and implementation of engagement activities to ensure the local community and key stakeholders are informed of relevant construction works and milestones, including displays, open house, site visits etc.
- Planning and preparing project communication materials, including works notifications, project updates/newsletters, website updates, social media, presentations and correspondence materials.
- Liaising directly with local residents, businesses and stakeholders to identify and investigate community concerns and issues, and contribute to their effective management.
- Coordinating responses to enquiries and complaints from stakeholders, ensuring they meet client standards and requirements.
- Managing Connect and liaising with the Community and Stakeholder Advisor to close and update cases as required.
- Contributing to stakeholder and community monitoring, recording, measuring and reporting.
