About the Role
">KINNECT is seeking an experienced Occupational Health Consultant to join our team in South Melbourne. As a New Employer Services Consultant, you will be responsible for providing personalized support and career counselling to clients, empowering them to find new employment opportunities and successfully reintegrate into the workforce.
">Key Responsibilities:

- Provide career counselling sessions to workers, assessing their skills, interests, and aspirations to identify suitable employment opportunities.">
- Assist workers in exploring job options, searching for suitable vacancies, and preparing job applications, resumes, and cover letters tailored to their abilities and experience.">
- Develop and implement effective job placement strategies to facilitate successful employment transitions.">
- Maintain positive relationships with employers to promote job opportunities for workers and advocate for inclusive hiring practices.">
- Manage a caseload of workers, maintaining accurate records of their progress, employment outcomes, and communication with stakeholders.">
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including healthcare professionals, rehabilitation specialists, and insurance providers, to ensure a holistic approach to the workers recovery and return to work.">
Requirements:

- Current registration with AHPRA / ESSA / ASORC / RCAA is preferred.">
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.">
- Ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients from diverse backgrounds.">
- Proficiency in report writing skill.">
