Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Workplace Rehabilitation Consultant to join our team. As a key member of our occupational health team, you will play a vital role in assessing injured workers, developing return-to-work plans, and providing clinical opinions to support their recovery and safe return to work.

About the Role
  • You will assess injured workers to determine the best strategies for facilitating their return to work, taking into account their physical and emotional needs.
  • You will visit workplaces to understand the challenges injured workers may face and educate employers on the health benefits of good work practices.
  • You will case manage complex injuries and coordinate with treating doctors and health professionals to support injured workers in their recovery and return to work.
  • You will provide clinical opinions and justifications through detailed report writing, ensuring accurate and timely documentation.
Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments of injured workers to identify strengths and areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement effective return-to-work plans, taking into account individual worker needs and capabilities.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals, employers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless care coordination and support.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to employers on workplace modifications, accommodations, and ergonomic solutions to promote worker safety and well-being.
Requirements
  • Certified professional accreditation with AHPRA, ESSA, or ASORC/RCAA.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to write clear and concise reports.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
