Role Summary

As a Senior Specialty Underwriter, you will be instrumental in shaping the future of insurance by leveraging cutting-edge technology to assess risk and tailor coverage.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize next-generation risk assessment tools to drive informed decision-making and move away from traditional underwriting methods.
  • Quote and release new light nonadmitted business, including referrals and changes beyond user thresholds.
  • Review and approve policy changes to ensure compliance with guidelines and regulations.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in habitational underwriting or insurance.
  • Strong knowledge of habitational insurance products and principles is essential.
  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent is preferred.
  • Retail agency relationship experience is also desirable.

You will excel in this role if you possess excellent communication skills, strong analytical abilities, and attention to detail. Self-motivation and a proactive approach are also highly valued.
