Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced CollectionsSpecialist to play a key role in resolving troubled and impaired accounts. As part of our team, you will manage your own portfolio of complex customer accounts and collaborate with customers, internal and external stakeholders to maximize recovery of troubled loans.

The ideal candidate will possess strong stakeholder management skills, as you will liaise with external consultants (lawyers, field agents, valuers, etc.) and internal departments. You will also be responsible for identifying hardship triggers, working closely with customers to recommend tailored solutions that balance their needs with business outcomes.

Your daily tasks will include engaging with customers over the phone, ensuring all actions comply with policies and regulatory requirements, and maintaining accurate records for transparency and accountability. In addition, you will support your colleagues by sharing knowledge, assisting with escalations, and fostering a positive, collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage complex customer accounts, including those requiring sensitive and creative solutions.
