We are currently seeking a skilled Payroll Professional to join our payroll team.

About the Role

This position involves managing staff details in our payroll system, ensuring accurate payment of salary and entitlements. Responsibilities include processing roster variations and payroll adjustments, calculating termination payments for exiting employees, and performing all necessary payroll checks and controls.

In addition, you will provide advice on rostering, superannuation, and entitlements, ensuring adherence to our policies and obligations. You will also provide payroll support to managers, schedulers, and employees on interpretation and calculation of allowances, redundancies, and other payroll-related queries including tax rules and implications.

You will contribute to the continual improvement of processes and procedures within the team, ensure superannuation payments occur on time, and support projects as required.

Requirements
  • Experience in payroll management in a complex organisation.
  • Ability to adapt to a changing environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel.
  • Aurion payroll experience is beneficial but not essential.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong customer service focus.
  • Strong communication skills both verbally and written.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
