Compensation Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Compensation Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our finance operations, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payment of wages and salaries in accordance with legislative requirements, policies, and procedures.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Promote efficient payroll processing and management by implementing best practices and systems to achieve streamlined monthly, fortnightly, and weekly payroll processes.
  • Prepare all payrolls-related month-end tasks and provide monthly data audits for our payroll assurance.
  • Deliver end-of-financial-year reporting and reconciliation of income statements.
  • Ensure effective payroll processing and administrative tasks related to payroll including superannuation, salary packaging, workers compensation, etc.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • At least 2 years' experience in payroll with a strong understanding of Preceda Payroll System.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with intermediate Microsoft Excel abilities.
  • A proven ability to work collaboratively within a team to meet project deadlines and maintain quality data.
  • Familiarity with operating a payroll system and necessary audit and data management standards.
