Job Title: Compensation Specialist

The role of the Compensation Specialist is a permanent part-time position that requires the individual to work in support of the Business Services Manager.

This involves managing and delivering regular compensation cycles for employees, working closely with an external service provider to maintain employee data.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Monthly compensation processing within our system for approximately 300 employees.
  • Collecting, calculating, and entering data to maintain and update employee information.
  • Processing and preparing termination calculations.
  • Inputting hours worked into our system and ensuring appropriate approvals from supervisors.
  • Inputting superannuation details.
  • Ensuring leave details and accruals are processed correctly.
  • Performing other ad hoc duties as they arise, including addressing queries on compensation matters.
  • Preparing and submitting tax returns for all states and territories.
  • Ensuring HR, payroll, and finance systems are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Taking ownership of compensation processes and data with high-level accuracy and timeliness.
  • Collaborating with various teams and employees across the organization to ensure all compensation details are correct.
