Marketing Officer Job Description

As a Marketing Officer, you will play a key role in supporting the growth of our membership and contract opportunities. You will be responsible for assisting the Business Development Manager in planning and executing business promotions, as well as providing administrative support to the Chief Executive Officer.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify and plan internal and external business promotions, including bookings and preparations.
  • Provide administrative support to the Chief Executive Officer on an ad hoc basis, including processing new membership enquiries and scheduling meetings.
  • Liaise with members and clients via phone, requiring a polite and business-like approach.
  • Support the co-ordination and preparation of content for tender submissions led by the Business Development Manager.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years equivalent administrative experience.
  • Exceptional time management, attention to detail, and prioritising skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Pleasant phone manner and ability to work directly with members and clients.
  • Aptitude for Business Development.
  • Self-motivated and able to work unsupervised.
  • Australian citizenship.
  • AGSVA Baseline clearance or willingness and ability to obtain one.
