Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Purchasing Specialist to join our team.
About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and experienced professional to provide procurement and financial governance services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Commercial team in delivering procurement and financial governance solutions.
- Identify, plan, measure and track benefits from program or project investment until realisation of the last projected benefit within the Defence sustainment environment.
- Evaluate and ensure that desired benefits are specific, measurable, agreed, realistic and time-bound.
- Work with projects and operational teams to manage time and resources invested into making desirable changes with valued outcomes.
- Provide support with simple and complex procurements.
- Assist with directorate financial governance activities.
- Maintain the program and project benefit application.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a similar role.
- Experience working in the Defence environment.
- Knowledge of Defence simple and complex procurement procedures.
- Ability to hit the ground running.
Benefits:
